The Animals

No village exists without farm animals, so a few donkeys, pigs, sheep, ducks and geese have found a home here too. Last but not least, we have a horse named Sacy.

Wine Cellar

A party space built from flat stones carried in by floods — a heated cellar where smoking is allowed, with room for 40.

Bath House

A shared washroom building made from the timber of an old barn, with separate entrances for women and men. It serves the lower houses that have no bathroom of their own.

The School

We have furnished a turn-of-the-century, monarchy-era classroom. It's guaranteed to give the older generation a powerful dose of nostalgia.

The Chapel

Completed in 2015, the chapel was designed by us and built from old timber with wooden shingle roofing. Its interior is adorned with a coffered ceiling painted by István Szász and András Bálint. The Stations of the Cross are the work of painter Tibor Kádár, and the stained-glass windows were made by Tibor Bráda.

The Club

A community space: a board-game room for kids by day, a party room for grown-ups by night. The wood fireplace, green-painted walls and eclectic furnishings make for pleasant hours, and book lovers will find countless volumes to browse.

The Village Hall

The village within the village can't run without a village hall. Though fictional, this is where the village judge works — an "office" furnished with last-century furniture and tools.

Mill – Sauna – Hot Tub

The mill's mechanism dates from 1873 and originally worked on Görbepatak creek; we rescued it into an old timber house we rebuilt, where we also created a salt room made of Praid salt bricks and a wood-fired sauna with a changing room and shower.
